Transformation Update

Hello, Friends! It’s been a while. While I have been plugging away at the shop, here is a peek into the transformation of the upstairs apartment. It’s a long-term project but a fun one. Who knows, maybe one day it will be available on Airbnb; but for now, it is a work in progress.

When I bought the building, it was full of milling equipment and junk. I believe the Brownville Mills closed sometime around 2011 or 2012. It looks like they just used it for storage and left everything there when I bought it. It’s definitely looking brighter 🙂

Look at all the stuff left in the building
The brick wall is the pièce de résistance

  1. looking good I hope you will be able to put the flooring in that you want The brick looks great I am guessing those are the front windows of the building. Keep it up Sue and Juyce You are doing a good job. Does it have a seperate entrance should you ever want to do an airb&b

    1. Thank you!!! The apartment does have a separate entrance but it still has a long way to go before its finished. Always something to work on but a lot of fun!
