It’s a new year and since I’ve been open for a little while now, I’d like to talk about what you can expect to see this year in the shop. As a home décor and gift shop, you can find an eclectic mix of home and gift items, whether it’s something special for yourself or a unique gift for a friend.
My focus is on those unique pieces that will compliment your home and add a touch of unexpected style. Style and décor are constantly evolving and the shop will continue to evolve with the trends and seasons. In addition to the classic pieces & greenery that you can use throughout the year, I will also offer those one-of-a-kind pieces made by local artists and craftsmen from the area. The town of Brownville has such a unique history and story behind that I want to offer pieces that reflect that same uniqueness. A bit of rustic farmhouse, the old west and a little bit of boughie!
You will find Nebraska made candles, soap, handmade quilts, blacksmith sculptures, and artisan made glass earrings and vases. You’ll also find your favorite home décor items including candle holders, vases, flower pots, pictures and artwork. I have a variety of faux flowers, greenery and succulents. If you’re in need of a special kitchen item, I offer numerous pieces including copper and gold plated bowls, dishes, cutting boards, measuring cups, Rada Cutlery and much more.
For those precious little ones in your life, I have an adorable selection of plush animals, baby blankets, kids quilts and toys. A little something for everyone!
When you stop in the shop, I hope you feel the history of the building (former Saloon) and the awe that this old western town left behind. I hope you find the shop to be cozy and inviting and whichever piece you pick out, I want it to bring you good memories of your visit to this charming little river town.
